An annual favorite and a staple for our Boulder County community, Bookcliff Vineyard’s Boulder Star 2017 is HERE! This classic Bordeaux blend is just lovely with all your holiday friends, family and fare. A blend of 67% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petite Verdot that is lush and velvety with blackberry and dark chocolate in the nose with wafts of strawberry preserves that make the palate salivate. Medium plus in body, lifted plummy fruit and the smoothest of tannin. Bookcliff does right by this beautiful wine as well as the community! The artistic label is done by local artist, Kathleen Lanzoni, and a portion of all proceeds go to help the Boulder Star on Flagstaff Mountain continue to shine bright! -Cheers
