Ciconia’s Alentejano bottling is 100% Touriga Nacional. Historically used as a blending grape in Port, this bold varietal’s potential for producing dry red wines has only recently been explored. The nose opens with ample dark fruit and delicate floral aromatics. A full body features dark plum, blueberry, and dried cassis with abundant tannic structure, and toasty elements from four months of oak ageing.
