White Blend 2018
A few weeks back I was able to get out and play a little golf with a couple of new friends, and one of them, my Colorado representative for Rodney Strong asked if I had a chance to try their new white blend. Not thinking too much of it, as I get this question a lot, I politely obliged and after the first taste I immediately asked how much it was and when I can get it in the store! A fantastically bright and lively white wine, just perfect for summer days and as the back label states it offers an unexpected and almost magical experience. This wine is succulent and brimming with peaches, melon and field flowers. Bright acidity and great minerality accompany the fruit perfectly for a clean and fulfilling finish. Comprised of 27% Chardonnay, 21% Grenache Blanc, 18% Gewurztraminer, 17% Pinot Noir, 11% Viognier and 6% Sauvignon Blanc, this mouthful of varietals will be your new favorite accoutrement for the rest of the summer!
