Lone Tree Brewing’s Horchata Milk Stout
If you haven’t picked a New Year’s resolution yet, why not commit to trying some new and interesting beers? You can start with Lone Tree Brewing’s Horchata Milk Stout. It pours almost like a nitro, with a big creamy head that gradually gives way to a dark, ebony body. The cinnamon and horchata spices dominate the nose, but are joined by roasty coffee and toasted malt on the tongue with a hint of hop bitterness on the finish. There’s a lot of complexity to be found in this one as it goes from pleasantly spicy to round and sweet to crisp and dry throughout each sip. One down, 50 to go!
