Tommyknocker’s Tundra Berry Ale
We’ve featured a lot of big, dark, malty beers lately. If you’re in the mood to take a break from that but still want to drink something that feels appropriate for the season, Tommyknocker’s Tundra Berry ale may be just what you’re looking for. This fruity brew pours opaque and dark red, almost like cranberry juice, and features an immediately enticing berry aroma. It’s medium bodied, with a pronounced but overwhelming sweetness and tart cherry-like acidity for balance that comes out especially on the finish. It’s hard to compare to other beers because it’s not exactly like anything else I’ve tried recently, but I bet it would go great with the big, holiday meals you’re planning.
