My palate has always been fond of Alsatian white varieties- the first wine I ever fell in love with was a northern Italian Gewürztraminer. Outside of Alsace (and northern Italy), climates like those found in Oregon provide optimal growing conditions for these expressive grapes. Jezebel Blanc is an artful blend of 34% Pinot Gris, 31% Gewurztraminer, 35% Riesling co-fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fresh and light, the nose offers aromas of pear, honeysuckle, and white peach, while the palate holds flavors of green apple, pear, and golden raspberry, with a vein of food-friendly acidity. Fantastic on its own, Jezebel pairs beautifully with oysters, chicken salads, or spicy Thai chicken and veggie noodles. Cheers!
