Another hot Summer week calls for yet another refreshing, thirst-quenching Rosé. Heidi Schröck took over her family winery in Austria in 1983, and although she trends toward traditionalist in her winemaking style, she also doesn’t shy away from experimentation. Schröck creates her masterful Biscaya Rosé using a field blend of red and white varieties. This unique combination of Lagrein, Teroldogo, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon along with various white varieties is unlike any other Rosé in our set. Aromas of cherry blossom, orange zest, and strawberry combine with complex flavors of cranberry and grapefruit. This wine has mouthwatering acidity that calls for charcuterie of salamis, cured meats, rustic cheeses, or poultry.
