It’s pretty easy getting cheesy when you have Alouette spreadable cheeses on hand! In the early 70’s renowned cheese maker Jean Noel Bongrain decided to bring his skills and love for French specialty cheeses to the States. He called Lancaster, PA home in 1974 and began creating a line of cheeses that combined traditional French recipes with flavors more suited to the U.S palate and hence Alouette cheeses was born. Marked by their soft, velvety texture and unique flavor combinations Alouette spreadable cheeses are perfect as an appetizer with meats and crackers and are ideal for spreading on bagels and sandwiches. I personally love dipping either Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps or Dot’s Pretzels (we have those too) in them. Available in a generous 6.5oz size serving all 3 flavors, Garlic and Herb, Smoky Jalapeno and Spinach Artichoke, will be on sale this week for only $5.99, usually $6.99! Cheers and Bon Appetit!
