Great Divide Grand Cru - 11% A.B.V.
Great Divide's Grand Cru is an elaborate interpretation of a Belgian style dark ale that is certainly capable of taking your breath away. The combination of imported malts as well as a breed of Belgian yeast creates a stunning yet intense beer that is full of flavor. On the nose you get aromas of caramel, toffee, dark fruit, raisins, alcohol and just the slightest hint of cayenne pepper. This medium bodied beer has a bright ruby color and just enough carbonation to create a smooth lacing of off white bubbles. The combination of flavors creates a powerful mouth feel that is incredibly sweet at first, but is followed by the burn of alcohol and finishes with just a subtle hint of spice. Grand Cru is elegant and delicious, but do enjoy with caution because the alcohol content does sneak up on you. Cheers!

Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti 9.5% A.B.V.
Beers produced by the masters at Great Divide are probably the easiest to write about because they speak for themselves. Espresso Oak Aged Yeti is no different. When it comes to stouts this beast is at the top of my list. It is a full bodied beer that is rich in color with a creamy mocha head. Aromas of freshly brewed espresso combine with an intense combination of vanilla and roasted malts. At first, the bitterness of coffee awakens the taste buds but, the smooth texture of vanilla and chocolate follow to create a full mouth feel and an excellent flavor profile. The word around town is that this bad boy is the ideal choice for a beer geeks breakfast, so drink up my friends. Cheers!

Upslope Brown Ale 6.7% A.B.V.
Upslope has taken a traditional English style brown ale and has adapted it to appeal to our particular breed of beer geeks around town. What started as a simple home brew recipe ended up evolving into a beautifully complex and delicious brown ale. With a medium body, rich in caramel color, this beer will certainly appeal to all of the senses. Rich aromas of caramel, roasted malts, a touch of chocolate, and the slight finish of hops are what you'll find when letting your nose hover just above your glass. The taste is wonderfully balanced, offering rich flavors of chocolate and brown sugar, but with enough bitterness to add an additional layer that helps create a lengthy finish. A delicious session beer! Cheers!
